Wishing you all many blessings for the year 2020!
This past year was filled with many new opportunities for me and I look forward to many more in this new year. I was honored to return to my alma mater (high school) and present a full day workshop to the faculty and staff on Anxiety and high school students. This is a huge issue we are facing and the talk was broken down into three topics: High School then and now; Anxiety and the body (Polyvagal theory and our central nervous system,); and incorporating elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS) into our understanding of ourselves and of others (especially our high school students.) I was able to bring spirituality into the presentation as it was at a Catholic High School so that was lots of fun! I will return to the school in February for part 2! So excited!
If you know of a school or any other organization that might be interested in having my speak or provide a workshop for staff, please don’t hesitate to let me know or provide them with my information! I was a teacher for over 25 years and at times I do miss that! I enjoy and welcome doing these types of speaking engagements!
I am looking forward to hosting more book discussions and will be announcing the book soon! As many of my clients know, I am an avid reader (okay...I admit it...I am addicted to books ad reading!) and it’s difficult for me to choose which book we should discuss! More on that to come!
I am currently working with a yoga instructor who is also certified in nutrition counseling. I am hoping that this will result in her offering a few discussions and presentations at The Sacred Self, LLC and possibly even offer her services to those interested! More on that as well!
My recently hired illustrator is working hard on the illustrations for my book and we are determined to make publication happen inn 2020! The first of many I hope!
I am looking forward to integrating my IFS work with my training in ART which is similar to EMDR. More on that to come!
So many wonderful things to look forward to! I can never get bored as there are not enough hours in a day to do and offer all I want to!
I will keep you posted!!!!
Peace and joy in 2020,
